Lutheran Youth Organization

Elections for the Lutheran Youth Organization Board for our synod will be taking place this winter. Conference representative positions on the board will be elected at the LYO Convention on February 21^st for the following conferences: Chester, Delaware, NW Philadelphia, Delaware, Lower Montgomery and Central Philadelphia. We are also looking for nominations for the positions of Synod Council Youth Representatives, Diversity Representative and Definitely-Abled Representative. PLEASE lift up young leaders in your congregation for these positions.

Those interested in the Conference Rep & Synod Council positions can run from the floor at the LYO Convention.  The Diversity and Definitely-Abled positions are appointed. Nomination forms for the Diversity and Definitely-Abled positions are due by Tuesday, February 16^th, 2010 to Molly Beck Dean, mbeck@sepa.org.

The annual Lutheran Youth Organization Convention will occur Sunday, February 21^st at 8:00 a.m. at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in King of Prussia. Even if your congregation is not attending the Senior High Youth Gathering, you can send two delegates to the convention. If this is the case, please contact Jessica, jmcalister@sepa.org, to register your delegates for the convention. Delegates are encouraged to submit resolutions for the convention to consider.
